Thought, miss outstanding, he looked good - felt more connected to the team than previous strikers, moved the ball well. Think if he’d scored that earlier effort he finds Alcaraz on the overlap later in the game but clearly was trying to fix it himself. Will definitely grow.

Barry was the major disappointment of the day for me. All day long he had the look of a youth team kid playing a first game with grown men. Undoubtedly better than nobody but didnt seem to have anything in terms of skill, pace, strength or any attitude. By comparison Evan Ferguson coming on showed instantly he knew how to play the striker role.

Honestly that ball was so perfect and Everton forwards don't do that. And it came from a 22 year old. He may not be adjusted to the physicality yet, but he looks very quick and like a winger on the ball at times which is crazy for his size. Give him a bit of strength and balance training, maybe test him in other positions from time to time and see if he can pick up the speed of the game. He is a good player. Whether he is a good premier league player will be the question.
