I've just enjoyed a lovely week in the Lake District with Mrs Chrismpw .... not been for years and its by far the best place on the planet in my experience - even if it's ruined a bit by having expensive pay & display nearly everywhere.
Having arrived, I realised (to the expansive eye-rolling of Mrs Chrismpw) that I'd forgotten to bring my bag of fresh undercrackers and socks I'd prepared and put next to the clothes bag I flung in the car. I've survived the week by buying a small pack from Tesco and hand washing daily.
Today I'm packing up to go home (4 hours) and there, in the wardrobe, is my bag of fresh undies and socks, just hanging there where I'd put them at the start of the week.
I need to find myself a wife who can properly look after me and do less eye-rolling than the current version.
