I remember Coleman - very early on v Benfica, also Branthwaite v Brentford when Toney ran him absolutely ragged and he got sent off. Remember him getting written off as rubbish by some at the time as well.

Young players will always make mistakes early on, it's how they handle making them that shows if there's a player there or not.

I'd start the lad away at Leeds, work him hard in training and if he responds then give him the start that will give him the confidence that one mistake is part of the learning curve.

KDH will adapt very quickly, Barry it's all about bagging his first goal and kicking on from it. Aznou - the best youngsters adapt quickest - so let's play him whilst Myko is out.

Looks like he's in at the deep end then. Gets a freebie if he plays as its more the clubs fault. He would go to many other clubs and be eased in even if players are injured. Everton dont do numbers.

In a perfect world he’d get 15-20 mins here and there when you team is 3 up, off the bench to settle in and acclimatise to the league. Unfortunately you don’t get that playing for Everton.

Same here. I’ll be very surprised if Moyes starts him next week. If Myko is out, think he’s much more likely to go with some awkward fix like sticking Coleman there instead. Moyesy not known for his risk taking - although playing Seamus there definitely has risks of its own!

Keane Young and Coleman threw away god know showman points between them over the last few seasons doing stupid stuff. Their ‘experience’ counted for absolutely nothing then. I’d rather see a young player make mistakes he might actually learn from than see Keane duck under another cross because we reshuffled the defence to play him instead of Aznou.
