I’m sensing a genuinely real movement against the negative energy vampires that want to use Everton as a vehicle to moan about and prove their top bloo NSNO credentials.

If this is genuine then you can mobilise into other threads and fight back against these people like it was in the older days on here, and restore the forum as a place of good Everton debate.

Although I have no part in either side’s debate I wish you well.

I thought Garner played well for England under 21's when they won the Euro's a few years back.

Big difference playing under 21s than full pace premier league imo. Sort of vaguely remember the games and i think England had wingers in that tournament to link up. Gordon and madueke i think.
We dont get that luxury at Everton.

The only shame of what was a very decent debut yesterday, was the run he went on, which cried out for him to take a shot, but he over thought it and he ran out of options.
I was a big fan of his arrival and he impressed me. Definitely went down hill when he came off.

That's way under-cooking how short we are.

We need at least 4 quality players in and a couple to add depth in emergencies.

The summer window is a disaster right now. We saw how poor we are as an attacking force yesterday against a team there for the taking IMO.

We're desperately low in numbers and quality.

Unprecedented summer is looking like a sick joke at this stage.
I do agree we need more of quality, but we also need to stop with the backwards passing and long balls, there is just way too much of it.

I think he will battle it out with alcaraz for the no.10 central position, and ndiaye should be battling it out with mcneil on the left...dont get me started on the right side

Dont get me started on Pickford with his contributions.

I think he only agrees to stay here because successive manager indulge him in his hoof ball.

He;s a great shot stopper, no question. But he wrecks at least 50% of our possession chances with his hoofing.

Moyes should have the guts to tell him to roll it out more often.

I actually thought JOB did well on the right again, but you’d hope this is just a stop gap for him (although it’s lasted long enough). Says all about our right side, many times he was our most advanced player.

I do think his distribution is over rated. Maybe he feels he has to do Hollywood style passes because we don’t have a decent deep lying central midfielder who can dictate a game. So much easier for England when he got Rice in front of him.

Don’t go in the Alcatraz thread, apparently he’s crap now

ā€˜I grew up as a kid watching Everton on Match of the Day,’ said new signing Kiernan Dewsbury- Hall, who impressed on his debut.

ā€˜I stood in the tunnel and heard the (Z-Cars theme) playing. It’s so iconic. I don’t care what anyone says — it’s a massive club and I’m humbled to be here. I’ll never take that for granted.

ā€˜You’ll get the best version of me here. The stadium was a massive selling point. This is going to make players go, ā€œWow — this is a project that will be excitingā€. I couldn’t wait to jump at it.’

Dewsbury-Hall is going to be joined by new faces, that is for certain. Everton have stepped up their interest in Jack Grealish, as they try to secure his signing on a season-long loan and there is growing belief that he wants to link up with Moyes.
