Looked good imo, great little pass through to Ndiaye to miss a sitter, good timed run to get into KDHs through ball - shudda done better maybe but keeper was out at his feet sharpish and a good long range effort that the keeper again pulled off a good save vs. always making himself open and stretching the defenders and showed good movement and a pretty decent touch too.

Not sure what some of you were watching but certainly wasn't us today.

Thought he was good on the whole. Scrappy at times but far more to his game than Beto. Movement is excellent and brings others into the game. The touch early on to skin their full-back and the move and pass for the Ndiaye shot were so classy, not something I was aware he had in his locker. Reckon he'll get bullied out of a few of his early games until he gets up to PL speed but you can clearly see what he could be.

….he’s raw but he has all the physical attributes to be a success, might be decent aerially.

Will really help him when he settles and gets a goal or two. I noticed defenders (including Pickford) playing the ball into his feet, I’d imagine that was tactical and an indication the manager thinks he can look after it, that’s a big asset for any central striker.

First bit is what i saw. Raw. Not sure where all the comments above are coming from. I think there is a tendency to post postive posts just to get likes. Never thought he was good or bad. Just raw.
Work in progress.

How some people think he's going to be brilliant based on what we have seen so far is ridiculous.

Maybe they’re actually judging his ability on more than one meaningless friendly and looking at past games in another top league as well as his goal record.

He could easily have had a goal and assist today, in which case the negative posters would have been talking differently.

He will do well.

Of course the kid us raw and he will need to get used to the Premier League. He has a good first touch and links up play well. Needs a goal to settle him down. Beto is more of a battering ram and has proved he can finish. Probably would have put the Barry chance away.
I would expect Beto to start v Leeds. Just hope they both hit double figures.

I do think our forwards could do with a bit more help in the main as they often look isolated at times. Thats where someone like Grealish could help with that, if anything.

He’s got a presence, is quick, has a good touch, can link play. Once he beds in and gets his confidence up I think he’s going to absolutely fly. Defenders are going to bounce off him. A few more of those KDH deliveries and he’ll be bagging from set pieces as well.
