Really hope so. Everything just needs painting blue with the badge and players plastered everywhere then it will feel like homeThe club will ‘Evertonify’ it over the next few months.

Calm down. To me it's a glorified St James Park with roughly the same attendance. We are in hoc with this for years. I'm sorry if you don't agree but I am underwhelmedJesus. We deserve absolute nothing. Just liquidate this club. Starting to actually hope we get relegated now. People pouting like spoiled children over an 800 million quid stadium that some clubs would absolutely kill for. How did we get this reputation for having good fans?
I'm in a similar position for night gamesOnly problem I have is - Last Pennine Express Leeds train leaves Lime St around 11pm. Would have around 1 hour to get back after a night match. If can't would be well and truly stuffed!![]()
Exactly what I thought!!One thing that did surprise me was the surrounding area, it just felt right walking to the ground. It really is the perfect location.
I wish we could have stayed where we were. I don't know what it is. Maybe teething problems or whatever. After 50 years of Goodison for me this just didn't feel right
It just has a certain charm, and keeping the wall was perfect.Exactly what I thought!!
I love it & after seeing it today, I'm convinced that we'll make it our own & it will become our fortress! As others have said: there's just no bad seat eyeline wise.
It's way more than just a functional stadium though.
I wonder what the issue was with 2?. Like you mentioned everywhere is seemed to flow fine, but 2 just had a massive line.Just back home. Some thoughts from today:
It was a strange feeling walking towards the stadium and you could feel it in the atmosphere. Great to have our new home, but the reality that the matchday routine has changed.
Great buzz around the Everton Way. Easily found our stones and found stones for friends that weren't there today.
As has been discussed the long queue at turnstile 2 and people seemed confused. Everywhere else seemed to be flowing fine.
Waited around 10 minutes to get served a beer and and sausage roll pre-game, so not bad.
At half-time we queued at the bar for 10 minutes and it didn't move so we just went back to our seats. No issue as i normally wouldn't get a beer at half time.
The stadium is amazing. Just sat in awe for the first 10 minutes looking around. The steepness from the back of the North Stand took me by suprise.
Walked back to town after. Took around 15/20 minutes.
All in, a great first experience. Yes some teething issues and some work needed internally to add character, but that will all come over time.
Looking forward to getting back over for the Brighton game with more of the family to share their first visit.
The acoustics were genuinely incredible. The views you couldn't complain. From the outside and the inside it looks amazing. Walking from the pier head to the ground for me was such a good experience and it felt right almost immediately.Genuinely such a world class stadium. Incredible.
But to be fair the F&B effort was woeful. Gave up trying to get a drink in club view. Never did that in the park end...
Based on the facilities I could see - I agree with what someone emailed the site saying they've missold clubview, be interesting to see how they deliver it once it starts.
