Confirmed Signing Jack Grealish

If Grealish signs I don't see Ndiaye being dropped. I think both play together often. But it gives us another good option
They’re such similar players that it really doesn’t make sense to me still.

I’m a long time Grealish defender too. I think Pep hung him out to dry a lot at City. This is just not the time to do this. Ndiaye is one strong season away from literally being Grealish at his peak. There’s no reason to even risk road blocking him!

Think that we would play Grealish in a number 10 role mate

Then go get one of the dozens of those that are younger, cheaper and who might stay here more than a season.

I can maybe even buy the idea that he raises us a level, but who cares when it is temporary and not to the level we'd like to be at the end of the day?
He’s available on loan for potentially the next two seasons.

Moyes isn’t here forever. He’s said as much.

I am assuming therefore that plan A is try and qualify for Europe next year (again he’s said as much) and then if successful try and win a Euro pot the season after.

Marry and mingle all that and Jack as hired gun for 1-2 seasons makes more sense, even if you don’t think it’s all very likely to come off?

But eh, aim for the stars and all that.

I just really don’t think it’s a good plan
I get the skepticism and I am not 100 percent sold on this, but it tells me we are being ambitious at the very least. Whether that is delusion or not is another question. I find it hard to believe we sign a better player than Grealish at this point which is probably why we will bring him in. It is almost certainly Branners last year here unless we do something unprecedented.

I've always thought this would get done. But very late after we had hopefully have gotten whoever it was we wanted before Grealish. (If that did happen that late - your hoping no one else would want him inbetween now and the final few days)

I'm just not sure I see the value in spending a good chunk of change on a lad we don't get to keep and isn't a guaranteed success when we're still in desperate need in about 3 other areas, none of which he can cover.

I don’t think we should act like we’re on some kind of win at all costs timeline

It's more like a win while we have Branthwaite timeline. We probably have money atm and we will have money when we inevitably sell next year. They are trying to pull a Villa now (which is probably foolish but it's what we are doing). Nothing to do but let it play out at this point. We missed out on the Kubo's and Fofana's. Time for the Diblings and Grealish's

Seems like Everton and Spurts are reluctant to fully pay his wages. If so walk away. Grealish was told end of last season to find another club. If he can't through greedily holding out for the loan club to fully pay his wages I'd bring him back and having him training with our academy and watching games from the stands.

He's not greedily holding out though is he. He's signed a contract to be paid a wage at 'x' value. That contract is for City to pay it. If you don't want to pay him that wage, then sell him, if nobody will.pay what you want to sell him for then drop your price or don't sell him. If you cant sell him, loan him, but if nobody will cover his full wages and you wont make up the difference, then dont loan him. Fine, pay him his £300kpw for however long it takes for his legally binding contract to be over, but dont make out as though hes the baddy. You gave him the contract, pay him as you are required to. If he doesn't come to Everton, then whatever, no skin off our nose.

With respect to Jarred he’s not good enough for that
