I am not kneejerking I have been banging the drum of the need to strengthen the right wing for months if not years, also the lack of depth, the games are 16 players these days not 11. Its not a case of panicking because we lost a friendly its a case of knowing how short we are.

I didn’t say you were knee-jerking.

You asked if anyone saying to stay calm had changed their mind and I said they shouldn’t knee-jerk from a friendly result just like you shouldn’t if we had won.

Whether it’s ok that we haven’t improved the depth yet remains to be seen by how our results are before the players come in… I’m sure we sign at least four more before the window closes but will we have lost out on points by that point?

There’s no way our team under Moyes that would’ve finished in a European position based on results since Moyes arrived isn’t good enough to beat Leeds in ten days.

Yep. A big reason why if we add someone like Dibling I still want us to sign another attacking player who has a proven track record of scoring goals.

I’m pretty calm. Roma are a better team than the majority of the PL. and we had more than enough chances to have scored.

We do need a RW, but the difference in ability between Leeds and Roma is pretty big.

KDH and Barry will be clear improvements for our team based on today. And branthwaite it back so everyone can stop worrying about Keane starting the first game.

I think in fairness there was good and bad in that performance.
We were playing a good technical team.
Thought we got cut open too easily at times
But we played some good stuff around the box that didn’t quite come off. Had chances as well.

Concerned about the left back though.

Pleased with some of the transition play today but we do need a LB, RB, RW minimum before the close of the transfer window. Another DCM/CM would be nice too.

And if someone could put a dinner on the spotlights and increase the gain in the mic then that would be splendid.

Its not the result that worries me its how thin our squad is
