Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Don’t call me Idiot you tit
It’s not my fault you haven’t a clue and your ambition for Everton is lower than a snakes belly

We all know PSR is a thing, even though it’s changing. But we’ve have spent so far 80mil have a 40mil bid on the table for a 19yr old. We are looking at spending 10mil on a loan for Grealish. So I will ask again what’s our PSR restraints ?

I bet if I scroll through your messages, you probably wanted us to get Jack Harrison back and sign Josh brownhill

No need to be name calling

It’s a great model for a well structured club. We need a load of players and I wouldn’t look to gamble on 2 in 1 hit, under our circumstances, at the moment.
Why not find a 10m-20m version rather than 40-50? We are paying a premium for talent. We need to pay that premium on instant success.

Its the foundation stage i suppose. For me, i'd like to see the young players come in that can be the foundation of a nucleus of a long term rebuild.

Aznou, Branthwaite, OBrien in defence for example could be with us long term. If we also have a few in other areas we 'may' be able to cement e.g 7/11 positions long term.

Then the next stage would be to improve the other 5 with ready made players over a period of time (not including Pickford of course).

Just what the top clubs have done for decades.

If we go for players that are young with elite level potential and they succeed then our club would massively benefit. Not only from player impact etc but also it would reflect well in a number of other areas as the club improves and grows.

£10-20mil signings may become top notch but sometimes you need the £40-50mil signings who have a higher chance to be the top notch long term foundations.

I still like Archie Gray

Me too. He wants to play CM of course but i like him as a RB.

Pity Spurs got him. Hopefully their new manager and him have a row.

Mateus Fernandes on the bench for Southampton today.

Not been linked but i think as he has interest, it shows they dont want to risk him as see a sale happening.

With Dibling out of the squad it certainly strengthens the view that he's been sold.

Would suggest Still is planning for life without them.
