Has all the hallmarks of a club (Southampton) isolating their wantaway player until the transfer window closes, who then in turn magically reintroduce them to the squad after the fact and try to pretend like nothing happened. Worked for Leeds with Gnonto..

Not confident this happens as I dont really believe that Southampton give off the vibe that they'll be climbing down any time soon.

Southampton are running a risk here. Dibbling has 2 years left on his deal. He won’t sign another contract. Southampton needs to sell as his valuation will diminish. I think we are in a fairly ok position on this.

The fee is massive. But all the English fees are out of control. Picking up one of England's most exciting young talents has to be a positive. Although our track record is awful so I too am apprehensive

True would rather take a gamble like this. He has a good few seasons we could double our money. Only thing is as I said who backs him up are we seriously relying on a 19 year old for a season on the right? Or just relying on Alacraz/Ndiaye to back him up?

His fee would now be much reduced , Leeds may have moved on , from their animosity to us over this.
I think that he is a potentially really good player , Moyes loves a reclamation project , would love to get him in for a minor fee as a sqauad player. He has been managed , and used badly.

Keane has averaged 25 prem
games a season in 8 years and was bought as a first team player 8
Years ago. And he definitely wasn’t on
100k then and I doubt he’s ever been on 100k
