Hello, welcome. Did you ever hear much of Grealish living the big life in Manchester and would he do the same in Liverpool do you think? My main worry with him is the private life stuff that he might just see a move to a different city as an excuse to try out all the nightlife.

We don't have the million stinking canals of his homeland but we do have a lot of water nearby, and of course Manchester has a large canal. I see a pattern with this lad.
Hi. Not sure whether Grealish is a regular drinker but on occasions he's gone out binge drinking within the football season. The paparazzi love capturing him staggering out of nightclubs which I think has upset our owners. Drinking was tolerated by clubs not too long ago but top footballers should not be out drinking I think.

I live near Birmingham and I categorically deny our canals stink and that they have shopping trolleys floating in them!

I blame us supporters , we were lazy , when football sold out to Murdoch ( he is a nasty piece of work , by the way ) we should have done something, anything to show our opposition.
The game has been gentrified , commodified and taken from us .
What is left is a husk of what once was.
Absolutely spot on. I hate the BS of the greatest league in the world when its not even the greatest league in the country (Championship all day long) I also hate it being triumphed as great for the English game when most teams are foreign owned, foreign coached and the players are mainly non English too. Supporters as you say are generally lazy (like society in general) and cheerlead without taking a closer look at what exactly they are cheering for. I love Everton as they've been a part of my life for 40 plus years but I'm saddened that for us to ever be able to compete we have to sell bits of our soul (like selling the women's team to ourselves when I castigated Chelsea for doing the exact same thing) and that we have to be a capitalist monolith to be able to finance any chance of bringing in the top players usually at the expense of the working class match going fan

Henry Winter & Martyn Ziegler actually spoke very well about Grealish going to Everton.
Difficult deal because of the wages issue , but it was almost as if they thought the deal can & will be done.
Don't mind so ter, he's a rare breed these days in he's actually a proper reporter, has a soft spot for us as well as a proper old club

Always ( usually ) speaks well of us .
He loved Goodison , wrote Duncs book.

Seemed to me he thought it was a good idea Grealish coming into his best years under Moyes.
I think this is a tad further than we all think.
