Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

….but if we sell him for £15m they won’t give us a penny back.
Let’s not take a punt on any kid then.
He won’t be getting sold for a long time, unless he does amazing in his first couple of years.
Everton will most likely give him a new deal 2 years in so it cuts down our yearly costs and if/when we sell him,
Even under what we paid, it will still probably give us a a profit when you factor in his value to the club

What a monumentally disappointing week it has been, all things considered. Again.

The two obvious and massive, gaping holes in the squad left completely untouched.

Yes we've brought in a player who should be useful to us and hopefully will prove to be an astute signing, but going into the week before the season starts with no quality right back and no right winger at ALL in the squad is criminal — those responsible for the state of the squad ought to hang their heads in shame.

As it stands there is no clear improvement to the starting XI over what finished last season. That's absolutely scandalous.

Dewsbury-Hall will be a huge improvement. Calm down. It will all be ok.

Then Keane starts and plays one of his handful of matches he will play for the season.

As he did at the end of last season when he appeared in our final 3 games and we won all 3 and with 2 clean sheets.
Final three games there was zero pressure on us as we had avoided relegation. He plays fine when there is no pressure.

First three games are winnable...pressure...wake up please.

Blessed evening.

Dewsbury Hall is an upgrade on Doucs

Every game is winnable. Moyes showed that last season when he had us going toe to toe with the likes of Liverpool etc.

I don’t see the pressure of the first game. It’s away from home so that pressures gone, and there’s 37 other games after it. It’s not a must win for survival.

If Keane played vs Leeds when there’s 37 other games left, I’m not sure it would really be his fault we ended up being relegated.

So naive.

Pal, is everything okay at home? You seem to come on here and cry about transfers non-stop.
