Who's looking forward to the new season and what do you expect?

Since Dan Friedkin has said they want to be contending for Europe next season, I’ll be happy with comfortably midtable, some good football, and keep getting better all around. There is a lot of rot to deal with throughout the club and they’ve made progress, but there’s surely much more to deal with and the whole process takes time.

A decent start, 4 points out of the first 2 games with new additions swelling the ranks at the end of the window. A nice relaxed season with no danger of the drop at all, final position of 8th to 10th.

I'm not looking forward to the season. I'm much less angry and stressed in the off season.

Expectations? A lot of nothingness. A slow start as per then mid table with nothing to play for by February. We'll all be bored with nothing on the line and ridiculous threads will increase to fill the gap.

A typical patchy start in a new stadium and improving as the new players bed in. If we get the two or three quality additions we could push for top ten if not its about where we were last season, not totally clear of the dog fight but clear with a few months left.

I expect averageness but no real fear of any repeat of last few seasons. Which is fine. plenty of dull patches. People will get tired of Moyes and then we will change him up.

I'm not a Moyes fan, and would be happy to see a good replacement right now, but I genuinely think the season will be kind of meh aside from the new stadium excitement

Let's see if any of the signings to come move the dial on that

A season where I enjoy watching Everton and look forward to matches rather than dreading them.

Just getting new owners has done this for me. I know there are no billionaire saints, but I couldn’t support the club in good conscience while they were bankrolled by the Russian mafia and all that implies for the world.

As it stands hard to be anything other than underwhelmed.
The improvement in the promoted teams worrries me.

If we sign the players we critically need (RB, RW, CM) I’ll be mildly optimistic.

This season will be what it will be from a league and cup perspective and I will enjoy every moment of it for 3 reasons
No Dyche ball
New stadium to settle into
Exciting future for the first time in years

Rome wasn’t built in a day, it will take us time to build a real team but I am confident this season is the start of something

Finish 8th after a slow start
Beto will get us 15 goals
One of Alcaraz, Ndiaye and Dibling will star, one will underwhelm and another will be in and out the side
KDH will be player of the season and be around the World Cup squad - will be a fans favourite
Pickford will be the best keeper in the league again
JOB, JB and JT will cause havoc on corners
James Garner will establish himself finally with Gueye playing one every two games.
