Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Judging from Joyce's podcast today, think the Dibling deal is dead and Grealish deal no where near as its been made out. Slightly less Sunshine and happiness today.

i took a lot of what Joyce was saying as his personal opinion rather than fact
I also think a lot is being played out through the press.

If he’s training on his own and he’s not in match day squads we aren’t far off.

Also think grealish is much closer than is being reported.

Quietly confident on both. If I had to put money on it, I’d be betting on both being Everton players by the time we play Leeds.

I’ll bet you.

In the last few seasons we have Kudus, Gnonto go on strike to try to force moves to us. Neither worked. For any deal to happen Southampton are going to have to lower their demand significantly. We have done all the moving so far and have £ limits. I didn’t hear anything from their CEO or DoF to suggest that any lowering of their price is imminent. Their manager, Dibling himself and both sets of fans are just caught in the middle. Frustrated and basically powerless.

Some reports that the deal between Napoli and Sevilla for Juanlu Sanchez has fell through as Napoli won’t pay up.

We’ve been linked to the player this window (as have Wolves) - wonder if we may go in for him now.

I would think that Moyes still wants a right back.

He’s also played wing back and right midfield I think. So could be good up option as cover for Dibling

He wants to join us, so
That strengthens our hand. So I suppose we wait and see what Southampton do. I think after their first game, there maybe be movement.
Not a great look seeking him a few days before their season starts.
