Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Season kicks off next week. No RB. No RW. If you say anything on here you're wetting sheets though.
Less bothered by the RB. Had the 3/4th best defence last season and other than swapping Young for Aznou, we have the same back 4 and same defenders available.

Obviously the RW is key, and we need one in. But we clearly aren’t just wanting to settle for someone like Harrison or Fellows and are trying to get someone clearly better.

£4mil for a keeper no one else including his own club wanted

£9mil buyout clause for a 3rd choice LB that the manager didnt seem thrilled about.

£12mil option on a deal done by the previous DOF

£27.5mil++ which will end up being the release clause of a 2nd choice CF.

£25-30mil for a midfielder his club wanted to sell.

The Everton masterclass.
Just when we thought your posts couldn't get any worse!

Southampton seem to be grand standing for their fans with the “we didn’t want to let him go and got top money for him” line.

You would think both sides can compromise and meet in the middle especially if the lad wants to go and it’s in everyone’s interest.

No one else seems to be interested enough which must be a worry for Saints
Think they hoped the flood gates would open but i think everyone perhaps including us think 45 million & a 25% sell on is too much for a 19 year old with one full season under his belt…

Although soton need to buy players according to their fan forum.

Would a defeat tmrw suddenly make them think 45 million and no sell on clause would allow them to reinforce their squad

True and agree on the RB…

… but we really have needed a rw since about 3 games into last season.

The next game is always the most important game.

I think everyone at Everton needs to be much less patient and show much more urgency. We've had to put up with some absolute rubbish for the last few years and everyone should be trying their hardest to get a good start this season.
We have 3 winnable games to start the season imagine the pressure that would be removed with 9 points by the end of August yet here we are with just over a week to go and the Right wing and RB situation is at best the same as last year (not good enough)

Should have gone for Dibling and Rigg at the start of the window. Yes the fees are very high but the upside could be epic.

I underatand why Moyes may want to wait but if Rigg shows his talent the fee and interest will become impossible.

So what happens if Branthwaite is out for Leeds and Moyes has to start the fourth choice CB because we have no RB...

Do you see now why we need one?
