New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

can't see there being much difference on non 'test card' though

Anyone paying prices like that for ale must be daft. The bars and pubs outside are going to be heaving and Everton will lose the revenue they could get.

If this is part of what the owners had in mind in terms of ordering the "turbo-driving" of the commercial side of the club they'll get a rude awakening to Everton demographics.

I said months ago when they first took over that they need to be aware of what sort of fanbase this. Early signs is that they dont have a 'kin clue.

Theyre already starting the U turn. They will have to lower those prices

Not saying its right or too expensive but whenever my mates drink up here £7 is a cheap pint for them compared to London prices. Sometimes I go local hungry horse for the football and a premium beer is around £6.50. So drinking at a stadium or venue is always going to be higher. Especially a new venue.

Nobody's forcing people to drink, and if its too much get tanked up at home or in a weatherspoons pre match.

Theyve been banging the drum of wanting BMD to be a venue hours before and after the game. They haven't got a prayer with those pricings. In as late as possible, out immediately after, the same as Goodison.

What a shame if those prices are correct.

They could have got people in before earlier and stay after, but they won't now with all the new places opening.

I'll await to hear if that's confirmed, if so I will not be in a rush to get there early and swerved the legends game.
You're right it does need to be confirmed. Heard a few weeks ago it was £7 a pint though.

The point isn't specifically beer is too expensive (which it is) mate. Its that they are needlessly ripping the fans off to look commercially savvy when they're actually likely to shoot themselves in the foot.

There's no reason other than greed for a club in the North to be charging 7 pounds for a pint or over 3 pounds for a soft drink.

Nobody is forcing anyone to drink in the same way no one is forcing anyone to go the match. Should we all just meekly accept if they raise season tickets to 2k because Fulham charge 3000?
