Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Would we be better going for Doak and Fellows instead of Dibling potentially instead?
Doak yes, Fellows no.

I don’t get the Fellows hype to be honest, when you look at his assist numbers, a lot of them were low% chances that the strikers did well with. How many of those translate to the prem? Not many id presume. He’s not rapid, is he a good dribbler? Can he score? If his only standout attribute is crossing, then we already have that in McNeil.

May as well take a punt for similar or less money on the continent.

If the RS want 20 for doak as suggested, you could get doak and McAtee for the price of a dibling…fellows is a cut below

I am not out of my element at all.

“Remain silent”

As if I would fall for that baiting none sense.

I know your type, if we do manage to sign the lad or someone else who is decent you will be right in there goading people with that soft arse bed wetting jibe routine once again.
100% I will.

It does if you have to pay £50m in one payment
I get that. But that’s a cash issue (there are ways for the owners to circumvent that). In my view we clearly set a budget for this position circa £40/45 and aren’t willing to really go higher.

Which I agree with, until we don’t have any other options/the options that we can get are massive drop offs.

Not at all, i just think it’s disappointing a key position in the team that is a major weakness at present still hasn’t been sorted with the league soon to start.
Massively disappointing mate, I agree. We’ve demonstrably tried to fix it though and came up short. I just get wound up when the same people decrying perceived inaction start moaning about how much time we’ve spent trying to fix the problem.

Southampton have got far too full of themselves there, and as a result they’ve either goosed themselves out of a sale altogether or made it so the player is gonna have to force a move. Neither is a good look for them, but that can’t have been something we’d have foreseen, especially when it seemed they were happy to do business early doors.

Are chances not low percentage because of how easy the assister makes them to slot?! Would see that as a good thing, myself.
