Just look at poor Jack... Lost his job and they won't let him find a new one by paying him off.

Disgraceful abuse.

Should probably cut off hands or legs or some other appendages.

P.S. Other cultural bias are available.

The only cultural bias here is you thinking that they routinely cut limbs off people.

Who said anything about paying him off. He has a contract with City, that was agreed between both parties. Its not up to us to ensure that City can maintain the payment that they agreed. We make an offer, if City don't want to accept that then thats all good. Its also true that City probably dont want to pay his £300k per week if he isnt seen as a part of the squad. We might make it possible for you to reduce that to £150k or something, but we dont have to.

The choices here are.

City sell him and hes free to agree terms elsewhere on his salary.

City keep him and pay him his contracted salary.

City loan him to whoever is willing to pay the most wages, or highest loan fee. If no loans are willing to cover his full contracted salary. Then City have to make up the difference.

Was semi tongue in cheek but let's leave the politics out of it.

Sheikh Mansoor and co have been brilliant for City delivering every promise and much more. Only bitter jealous rival fans say nasty things but the truth is we have the best foreign owners in the PL and that's a fact.

Calling other fans “bitter and jealous” just makes you look a bit of a dick mate, but I’m sure it’s the norm for people like you these days.

Lots of Man City supporting mates, I used to go to games with them in the 80’s. I’ve seen you lot play up at Carlisle in the 3rd division as it was then.

Remember where you come from and don’t condescend others, it’s not a good look.

Again, you're talking like this guy is a Beardsley, Kanchelskis or J.Rod level player. He isn't that guy and never has been. He isn't going to produce the goals and assists needed to justify the money. And his attitude and physical state must be highly questionable now.
He’s a player who one of the most highly regarded managers of all time forked out £100m on and played in a Champions League final.

His attitude is questionable based on what? The fact he likes to get on the ale after winning trophies at the end of a season? At no point last season, where he wasn’t getting much game time, was he anything less than professional and there’s not a shred of evidence to the contrary.

His physical state is questionable? He’s a full time professional footballer working with the best in the business every day ffs, not some semi-pro outfit.

I think we get him based purely on the logic that City wont want to loan him to Spurs or Newcastle or anyone else who can do damage to them.

Rather a club, that is not a direct rival who can do damage to their rivals but not them.

Hello Everton.

I read that the club think they can get Grealish for £12 million for a season.
If that is acceptable then why delay things any further?

Because that, if it's true, would be where they think they can take the negotiation.

Negotiations, by definition, are not instant. It takes two to tango.

We can't delay this till deadline day and then not get it over the line.
Ask the questions now and find out either way.

I don't really care how much he costs us for a season tbh. Just get the best deal you can and get it done. He improves us instantly and I would love to see him in a blue shirt at the new stadium. Would do wonders for our PR too with the tens of millions of followers he brings with him.

Yeah we’ve tried this way of working before. I won’t remind you how it ended.
