I went to try & get in to see Slade of a ticket tout not a ticket to be found Dave Hill fell off the stage & broke his legSaw Pink Floyd there one Friday night around 1969-70. They were but one of 10 or more acts, the only one I remember were The Klubs a local 'heavy' band.
Anyway they stopped halfway through the 2nd song song, the singer said...not working this is it - and took the band off.

And he was right it wasn't working, it was Friday night ffs we'd all turned out to rock the night away.
After about 10 15 mins they got The Klubs back on and away we went moshing the night away.
Remember seeing wrestling there.
