Drove past the stadium last night they have put walk through metal detectors on the entrance to the wall

It’s not really mate, it’s fine for me and the kids like, but you can get much closer to Goodison or Mordor in a cab, or getting dropped off by a mate.

Maybe they will change it once we’re up and running properly.

We took a stroll to the stadium earlier in the year whilst shopping in Costco.
It took 10 to 15 mins.
Tomorrow we'll be walking from the Moorfields area ( my lad lives facing the 3 graces ) so knows it very well.
He reckons it will take about 25 to 30 mins , might even stop for a swift half on the way

We walked from roughly the same area for the second event, and it was about that mate, not a bad walk, might be different in December!

loved a prematch visit to the Tommy Frost., a two mile walk from lime street and 2 or 3 cheap beers in the TF for less that £6 is not to be sniffed at. Best part of the day, certainly better than the football that followed.

I like the atmosphere in there, better than any of their pubs in London

….Mrs Eggs and our daughter just visited the shop and parked in a lay-by almost opposite the the main entrance. Restriction on match day, there was a few cars parked there.
