I know but the season starts in over a week
Its frustrating mate no doubt but we are trying to get a calibre of signings…based on fact we came 6th last year not 13th.

Clearly players need convincing and closer it gets to the window…maybe they are more willing to come.

If our attack by the end of August is Grealish, dibling and DH or perhaps even better…compared to McNeil, Doucoure, Harrison

Isn’t that worth it in the long run!

Leeds away is tough but its not going away to City first game. We’ve lost no one we wanted to lose. Will likely have DH starting and i saw the Leeds boss complaining they have not signed as many as he wanted. Leeds away is not an automatic defeat…that some on here have wrote off.

I have a sneaking suspicion it'll be Ndiaye on the left and McNeil on the right with KDH in the middle in front of Gana and Garner.

Moyes said during the Summer Series that he was disappointed in Alcaraz and thought he was better as an impact sub. Unless he shows Moyes something, he might end up stuck in that role, coming in late across the front wherever we need energy and an attacking threat, but that's a legitimate role and something we've needed for a long time.
Agree about Alcaraz but I think it would be better overall to play McNeil on the left and Ndiaye on the right (until a right winger is found). Ndiaye plays on the right for his country and McNeils only chance of offering something to the team is coming off the left.

Dibling has been properly ongoing since July 31st, KDH from... 1st August
The right hand side position is thr most important. Really should have been prioritised weeks ago. So yes the Dibling negotiations have only been going on like 10 days but we can't afford them to drag on for too much longer either. We need to know if we can do the deal or not within the next week to give us time to move on to someone else if needed.

10 days? Been a week my man, are you losing the plot a little this transfer window

It's only worth waiting till the end of the window if you get top players in. That's not happened before and that's why I'm highly sceptical about it.

Was the last couple of days of July this was first reported IIRC

I dont like that we haven't prioritised right wide players and right back. Wouldn't say I'm losing the plot but I'm a little impatient. A good start is difficult with a very small squad and late recruitment.

If Branthwaite wasn't injured I'd feel a bit better to be fair. Hopefully he's back for Leeds.

All I’m reminding you of is we first bid for Dibling a week ago. It’s not been a long time. It just feels a long time when you check Everton transfer news every 10 minutes.
