Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning everyone,

Thanks for all the kind granny wishes.

Getting exciting at BMD , they are even starting stadium tours in September 😂.

We normally get rectangular bales of hay for the goats and sheep. Not light but you can get a couple in the wheelbarrow and take them down to the animal pen which is at the bottom of the garden some way away.( @anjelikaferrett and @Val P know what I'm talking about about ).

However our local farmer told me they aren't doing that anymore but are doing 3ft high circular bales. " OK no problem can you deliver me one "

Came home to find a circular bale 5ft high and over 3ft in diameter.

It took 2 of us to push it onto it's side and roll it ( fortunately) downhill to the pen - only catch it it's not straight as we have a meandering grass path - it's the most fun we've had in years but we were knackered by the time we got it into the pen and secured it.

More visits from the District Nurse and Occupational therapist today so it isn't always fun at Jazzy Towers.

Have a lovely day everyone.
Just putting this out here, might help pass the time with your travails concerning hay bales.

Good morning all on this foggy day here , I hope all had a good night and have a fantastic day today . My Ex wife was quite intelligent and had more GCEs than me but Matt told me she voted for Brexit ,is a Trump supporter and voted for Nigel Farage and she married me ! Funny how hindsight changes your perception of people .
I fitted the parts to the quad but there was no life in the battery and no petrol in the tank ,they have been remedied and so the quest goes on today ,video evidence will ensue if I succeed .At the rear of our land is a vast forest in which are service roads so I will need maps on my phone and the world will be my oyster ,we have a small lake called perch pond in translation and I have wanted to go since we arrived .Perch is a favourite fish here , to catch and eat is so special feeling and they provide grilling places to cook them two minutes after they were swimming ,eaten off the bone like sardines .
Time for breakfast which is wild mushrooms -chanterelles .Have a great day all COYB

This talk is vast forests, service roads, maps and newly repaired vehicles reminds me of a classic horror film setting.

Morning all.
Afternoon all, I have zero to offer to this farming thread except I once got bitten by a Shetland pony at a petting zoo. It all sounds like fun I think 🤔.
An exciting weekend ahead - we’re off to a wedding near Clitheroe tomorrow, staying overnight then straight down to Liverpool for the friendly. Booked the Titanic again a while back in anticipation of hubby’s potential limited mobility.
So an early have a nice weekend from me and COYBs! 💙
Sounds like a perfect weekend - have a lovely time.
