I think having read the books first or at least one, helps massively with Slow Horses, as you already have a mental picture of the characters, which the series has managed to cast exceptionally well ( imo )

Yes. I had read all the books first. I always saw Jackson Lamb as a cross between James Bond & Jim Royle and Gary Oldman has so nailed it. Believe he had read the books as well and so wanted the role.

Just breezed through Halo S1. Had its problems but I quite enjoyed it.

Glad to hear someone else liked Halo - all the bad feedback I think comes from those who know the game, whereas if you're like me and never played it its perfectly fine.

I used to watch WCCW when it used to be on Eurosport back in the day . It was the poor latter years though . I loved the Texas tornado in WWF and there was a brilliant non WWE documentary on WCCW and the Sportatorium .
Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll give it a watch just to see who plays Ric Flair .

Yeah same here, vaguely familiar with the game but I didn't have any preconceptions so I could just roll with it, it ain't up there with The Expanse or Battlestar but I thought it was pretty good, hope Netflix pick up the second series.

Currently binge watching, in slow time, all seasons of Vera. Just started season 11.
