You don't think signing Grealish would have Sky/TNT show casing our games? Why would we get increased TV revenue from games. He won’t increase frequency that much eg Rodriguez etc.
Increased media attention or profile doesn’t generate any money - you are looking Sponsorship - why would you sponsor Everton for a temporary player!
Sorry mate don’t agree on your profile arguememt, at its kindest it doesn’t lift boats to the level it need to to make the disruption or cost worthwhile.
Don’t trust AI

Think you are missing the point kiddo. The club has only just got back to sort-of financial health let’s not ruin it eh just because we have shiny new owners.
Amazing. Had you only watched the Champions league final (where he played the entire match) you'd know the AI 73 minutes was wrong. It’s the patronising ‘did you not watch any of the games’ I liked best!
Seen a few things on Grealish, some reports that we have offered to pay half his wages (£150K a week / £7.8m) for the year and City want the full amount.
I have seen before where players wanted moves they temporarily took reductions in their wage to make the move happen, Lingard when he went from Man utd to West Ham, and Danny Drinkwater when he went to Burnley on loan from Chelsea. But I know thats quite rare and normally when the player is very keen on the move.
I remember when we signed James, there was a suggestion that we paid £12m to get him out of his Real Madrid contract and Madrid essentially just gave that money to James and then he signed a new contract with us. I could see something like that happening, Like we pay £20m for Grealish, City give him that money and terminate his contract and he signs a new contract with us, on reduced wages, but with £20m in the bank.
There seem to be a lot of clubs lurking and waiting to see what we finally agree with City and Grealish and could just come in and match it
