I'm not sure that really means anything though, it depends on the context. If they're all saying 'oh yeah Grealish, I know all about him he's amazing I actively seek out information about him regularly' then that's potentially relevant. If they're effectively saying 'yeah doesn't he play for England?' then that's not going to have any benefit to us at all in a commercial sense. I'm not saying that means we shouldn't buy him, but I don't think his profile is anywhere near big enough to do it for commercial reasons, it would be purely for footballing ones.As a sample test, I've just asked 3 people who do not follow or like football. All 3 knew who Grealish was, nobody had a clue about Ndiaye.
Grealish brings attention to the club sufficient to justify the price. He has deals with Pepsi, Puma, Bose, Gucci.
If we want players the calibre of Grealish this would have to happen.

TFG pulled out all the stops to get Dybala , done the same with Lukaku.
But based on him being a high profile player. If his profile drops so will his deals, obviously. They'd be to him personally I imagine.
Started 23 league games and was a sub in 5 more playing over 2000 minutes - maybe don’t trust google’s AI in future
Increased TV revenue from games, increased exposure through media attention, increasing the clubs profile through social media.Yes please!
I’m curious to see how his profile would bridge + £7.8 mill a year in breaking our wage structure on top of an initial £7.8mill.
Total cost £15.8 mill.
Yeah, hard to see how he doesn't end up there covering Maddison for the seasonSpurs all over this transfer.
Didn't say that at all.You think Grealish is as good as J.RodCity have spent fortunes on all sorts of bad players.
Or, just use it in the right way....Started 23 league games and was a sub in 5 more playing over 2000 minutes - maybe don’t trust google’s AI in future

Have a quick look at Jack Grealish's social media numbers compared to Evertons (let alone any of our players).
Ndiaye is a nailed on starter even if all the signings materialised. 4231 with him, Grealish and Dibling as the 3, Gana and KDH as the 2 behind. KDH would be the ball carrier and free up Gana to just focus on covering. The same thought had occurred to me.
Despite what KDH has said about his best role being as a number 8, our current system has a hybrid 8/10 which most people seem to think will be where he's playing.
That being the case, Grealish plays from the left and Dibling plays from the right - where does that leave Ndiaye?
Fair enough, you need more than 3 attacking midfielders of note and Ndiaye would still get loads of minutes but it feels a little bit like Ndiaye would become a squad player rather than our best attacking player - that might be progress, but feels a little harsh on him.
