Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

One James Justin coming right up!
Watching a video of best goals at each EPL ground last night and Justin scored a screamer against Arsenal (I think he scored 2 that match)....

Reminded me of that Cuco Martina goal for Southampton I think....

Not a good sign.

Also, unsurprising that Everton featured in it 3 times (of course one being Goodison), and all 3 goals against us! Always feels like we get worldies against us.

I'm tired of the Myko bashing, I think he is a very good defender and his overlapping play has massively improved under Moyes. He only got 1 goal and 2 assists last season but they were all after Moyes took over. No reason to believe that with better players around him and a license to get forward he wont at least double that this season. Cucurella had 7 goal involvements last season, Kerkez had 8, I think Myko can hit these numbers under Moyes and he is a player we tend to take for granted. Aznou will have his work cut out to dislodge him but then thats what we want good competition all over the park.

One more thing: do we seriously have no time to work on contract extensions: Garner, Myko, Pickford was mentioned and Tarky. Garner and Myko would command a decent fee and Tarky should stay for more years regardless
I'm guessing all three would be smart enough to hang on and see who we bring in as it can affect what they will be asking for.

Surely we close Dibling deal today no point dragging it on if an agreement can’t be found. RW is essential for Leeds in 11 days time.
I'm pretty sure that even if he signed today Moyes wouldn't play him away at Leeds.

Same a Aznou.

You know what you get with Moyes. He will introduce these young lads into the team on a gradual basis with minutes and a half here and there until he thinks that they are ready.

I saw that, too. But I try to see it positively as other teams have to produce worldlies if they gonna score against us.

Think we had the fourth best defence in the league didn't we? I don't think Moyes will be looking to make major changes any time soon. Probably why it looks like we'll be keeping JOB at right back.

🔵 Everton's Right-Side Crisis: Moyes' Urgent Transfer Task 🔵

⚠️ Problem Areas:
➡️ Right Wing:
- Zero natural RW options (McNeil/Ndiaye makeshift)
- Failed £40m bid for Dibling (Soton want £45m+)
- Fofana (Lyon) too raw for PL start

➡️ Right Back:
- Young gone, Coleman (36) fading
- Patterson/O'Brien unconvincing

🛒 Transfer Strategy:
• RW: Need immediate PL-ready quality
• RB: Can develop younger talent under Coleman

🔥 Potential Solutions:
RW Options:
1️⃣ Jack Grealish (Loan) - City talks ongoing
2️⃣ Reiss Nelson - Arsenal may sell
3️⃣ Manor Solomon - Spurs fringe player

💸 Financial Reality:
- Already spent £25m on Dewsbury-Hall
- Must sell to fund major moves
- Loan market crucial

⏳ Moyes' Deadline Day Headache:
"Need 10 signings" but right-side fixes most urgent
