Confirmed Signing Tyler Dibling

That plane which some, including myself, have speculated that he will be on, has today flown from John Lennon Airport to Southampton, then to Inverness and Kerry, before heading back to Southampton again. There is still a scheduled departure at 16:30 from Southampton to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. If this even involves Dibling, that is quite a bizarre series of flights to take in a single day.
You could say that but you could also say who have we picked up in Inverness and Kerry? Triple signing on the cards?

What? You think £40m is the going rate for a world class winger? You tripping.

We are now on to plan F if I know !

At the risk of making this an aviation thread, that is similar to many European flight patterns. The plane I got from Aberdeen to Heathrow last year had already been to and from London, Barcelona and Amsterdam! Any how - let's get back to refreshing Flight Radar

Well yeah as I said I don't think it's worthwhile for you at £50m as the risk reward ratio lands on the wrong side.

£40m and 20% would have been a good compromise I think. You could have sold him for £100m in 3 years time and still banked £48m of the profit.

I don't necessarily disagree with your general point but we're within our rights to reduce our risk with it and fight for the deal which suits us best.

Especially as it's not like we're desperate to sell, we've got another player we can get £50m for and by all accounts we're happy for Dibling to stay and take a lower fee next year. If he's pivotal in us gaining us promotion then he's earned us more than we lose anyway.
Absolutely fine. You can ask what you want , he's your player.

However I don't agree with you about the balance of the deal as proposed by your club.

In fact I will go further and say that I don't think any club, even one with far better finances than us will look to do that deal.

Again that's fine if Southampton don't really want or need to sell.

On the other hand if , like every other club relegated from the PL, you need to cut costs and sell players I think you have massively overplayed your hand.

If I was leading the negotiations for Everton I'd just walk away.

I feel sorry for the lad. There is no other PL team able to afford him who will guarantee him game time .

Just do it, we’ll go back and get turned down by the same bunch of players and come back in for him before the deadline anyway.
