Gone under the radar a bit with all the news today but in his reporting of the Grealish deal Fabrizio (I know) said that we're still interested in Fofana and still waiting for the players decision.

I wouldn't be surprised if we've moved on from that deal tbh but at the same time the CL club he wanted has still yet to materialise.

Fun fact: The rule wasn't actually brought in because teams were worried the loanee would purposely score an own goal against his parent club.

Everton led the campaign to bring in the rule, because it was a certainty that our player would score against us.
