Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

What’s the best long running joke ?
1. The gana photo
2. The dele loan gag
3. Jack Harrison signing again
4. Buying players to loan to Roma

Will always be the dele one for me.
There is only horse!

Although some of the stuff around el presidente and the shot to his heart runs it close.

Seeing as there's genuine reported and rebuffed interest in players, are we giving the club and Moyes a bit of slack seeing as there's been a lot of moaning re transfers?

Could literally say this about any player but there’s no world in which a 40 year old Ashley Young would be on Bayern Munich’s books and whilst Barry went for 30 million no one will even take DCL on a free. I doubt anyone would have even paid 30 mill for him this peak.

Mangala was a slow midfield plodder who was the definition of neat and tidy but nothing more. If KDH can run at even an average pace he’ll be more useful than Mangala was.

People are forgetting how poor some of these former players were. Injury prone, slow, inconsistent, really poor output. These new players would almost have to contribute virtually nothing to be worse than some of those they’ve replaced.
Exactly and if told Pickford will be out for 10 games, given the choice, which keeper would you choose?

All of those apart from Alcaraz are debatable. Begovic was a good back up keeper, no one knows how Barry or Aznou will get on and Mangala was looking good before his injury. Not seen anything to suggest KDH will be an improvement.
Kdh is the doucoure replacement is not the mangala type, can play in a two but is better in a 3 or more advanced role. I thought mangala was a tidy player helped us keep hold of the ball and used it well. But cant really compare the two as kdh looks to give the ball and look to go forward and attack. I think the lad will shock a few people, i think will be a great signing for us
