I mean last year Ashley young was made to look decent playing at right back. I mean having tarks and branthwaite next to him will surely help.

not too worried, he would come in as a backup and would be cheap. Not the worst situation for me but also far from exciting.

There literally dozens of players who are cheap but not very good—— we need a right back who can fit in right away and do a good job who comes at a reasonable fee, not someone is cheap but no better than the ones we’ve got.

Because maybe Moyes wants to give that spot to O'Brien, doesent think he's ready for centre back but wants to find him minutes?

Fair enough, then why would he need three backup?
Justin and Patto aren’t up to the job, Coleman’s body will struggle to be up to the job.

Is it purely a numbers game in the hope one of them might look a bit better than the other two if needed?

By that logic Faes might be decent because he was playing next to Justin, Vestergaard and Coady.

It started with Cooper to be honest. And in reality we weren't all that convincing in the championship but the personnel saw us through.

Justin was poor the season we were relegated before so it's not a recent thing. Injury has really hampered him physically and mentally imo. Would love to see him get back to playing well
