Thanks Val. Fortunately there doesn’t appear to be any obvious damage, the garden has been battered , sweet peas horizontal now , lots of apples from our one tree on the ground , etc , I’ll spend time putting things back in place later. Crazy even for Scotland to have such weather in August.

KDH was born in Shepshed in Leicestershire.

With that rakish moustache and good looks he could easily be in line as the next Earl.

I wonder if KDH will replace DCL in @anjelikaferrett affections.

I hear that she has something in common with you G - yeah likes a bit of posh 😂
 
Hi guys, hope you're all well. I'm just coming out of the first major headache I've had since starting the meds. It felt a bit different though, not a tension headache, I'd say a migraine as it has completely wiped me out for 2 days.

Daisy has just been sat on my chest which she only normally does first thing in a morning so I'm guessing she's sensing things aren't right.

Been a right let down this pre-season hasn't it, we'll never learn, no point in excitement this club will kill it off every time.

I've still been gaming more than usual, on games that I've not been able to play for years or even never played before and also while I was downloading I ended up getting a good session on minecraft going so that's took a lot of time up.

I had to Google what he looked like and the answer is no. He's no Dom.🤣

Talking of Posh they have been doing a bit of re-branding and have a new crest - words fail me…

Not much to tell ypu about - the daughter is 28 today. We celebrated yesterday because she's going out with her partner, his son and Frankie today.
I see we didn't lose to Man U. That's an improvement. My friend's grandson has just been scouted by Everton. He's 8! He's been invited to Finch Farm for a trial- or whatever they do these days.

Good morning all on this fine day here .I hope all are well and have a great day .Well Matt went yesterday and we had a great time but no photos sorry he spends a lot of his time lying down on his phone but not playing games just keeping on top of tech stuff .His game is online but I cannot share it yet on this new "Google Chrome "alternative called Comet which has been launched along with the obligatory AI ,it amazes me how fast this sort of stuff is moving .Anything you want is there as long as you phrase it correctly .
We had plenty of chats and I was able to spot some of his problems that were not evident over whatsapp ,the saddest thing he said was he has no emotions ,it is not entirely true because he hates some people ,I think he just meant positive ones .Whatever happened in Cornwall has scarred him deeply ,although he skirts around the facts he doesn't say what it was .
On the bright side they want him to do another game and that will set him well on his way to getting his own flat ,he is looking at one in Sandfield park ,a one bedder , I told him to sit on his hands with this new project and Meta interviewing him ,who knows where it will lead he could be enticed over the pond and the flat will lay empty because he has less go in him than is humanly possible if it doesn't concern games and gaming. It takes him three choices of what to have for breakfast .

2 more false alarms with mum's fall alarm and then irony of ironies it didn't go off when she did fall. Even worse I was in the same room changing her bedding at the same time.

It all happened in slow motion, she just over balanced using her wheeler and I was too slow and couldn't catch her.

She reopened the wound on her shin which took months to heal last year. I've cleaned and dressed it but can I get an urgent district nurse visit ? Can I hell.....maybe Friday! GP won't do dressings..."what about going to A&E?" Are you mad, as if I m going to have her sat with the pissed dregs of society for 6 hours.

I'm so fed up. I can't provide a safe environment for mum , she doesn't / can't listen to advice and instructions and the onerous nature of looking after her is just too much .

I've contacted the local authority yet again to try to get her into a care home ....."we will get back to you for a re-assessment, she's on the amber list ".

I’m so sorry to read this @jazzy it must be tough to deal with. Although I’ve mostly found our services round here to be good there is now a private GP/medical centre opened on Standish High Street- it will be interesting to see how it goes.
When I went to Ormskirk minor injuries unit in the morning it was quiet and I was seen within a couple of hours - I don’t know if that could be an option. I hope things improve for you.

I’m pleased you were able to enjoy your time with Matt and his future is looking positive. My daughter in law introduced me to AI over the weekend- nothing too technical though - just trying to find a new hairstyle 😂.
