Ignoring the potential cost of any deal, if anyone told me at the end of the season that we were likely to have Grealish lining up for us for the new season I’d have been pretty excited.

I’m going off the times story and you are assuming they can recoup the full 300k. They want to recoup as much of the 300k per week as possible, hence the 12m for the season.

They’d still be paying 70k per week wages but they have little choice as no one is interested given his salary and their asking price (40m).

They are saying they want 12m for the season to cover most of the package.

He was on loan at Strasbourg last season and with Caizedo, Enzo, Lavia all competing with him they may be open to move him on for a chunky fee i hoped.

They are not unwanted though, the only person saying that is you Zat. One is a backup GK and the other is a CM, we needed both, any blues fan can see that. You don't like it because both players are over the age of 21. You still fail to grasp the concept that we cannot have a squad full of under 21 level players, we have to have some experience somewhere. Also before you jump on me about KDH and the PL, the guy has medals in his cabinet, he is a winner which is more than any of our current players can say.
