I think it was always going to be a Fofana/Dibling type and then grealish on top. We’ll still be going for a right winger if Grealish comes in.

But they don’t even play the same position? In fact Grealish’s best position is the same as Dewsbury-Hall who we’re about to drop £28m on. He’s also 10 years older than Dibling. What is the plan? This so far to me stinks of the 2017 window but done at the last minute. Completely scattergun and nonsensical. God only knows what Moyes is making of all this this week, his head must be on Mars.

It is more than plausible that those three players are not being pursued to occupy the same position.

Grealish is not an alternative to Dibling as he’d get lost looking for the right wing. He is an as well not an instead of option to a RW.

Yeah you don't move on from Dibling to Grealish. Completely different players. You move on to another right winger and continue or ramp up your interest in Grealish. Still think Grealish will be a late window loan deal though if any.
