If there’s a club out there who still hasn’t got their key business done at this stage of the window then they’re also a basket case like us. Also none of them needed 10 new players and none of them have a position on the field that literally doesn’t have a single player in their squad that can play there. Other teams’ business is completely irrelevant to us.
Its really not though, deals don't happen in a vacuum unless you're Madrid, City, Arsenal etc. Teams that players will never turn down and are on another planet financially.

For us and the majority of clubs it's about finding opportunities where you can. We will have had a plan going into this window but ultimately it comes down to things aligning in our favour. We've been waiting for teams to not come in for players we want (Grealish, Fofana) becuase thats our best shot at getting those quality players in.

If you think we're in a position to bend the market to our will I'm sorry but you're deluded. Of course we're relying on adapting to the market and other teams dealings, we're a tough sell atm. We're playing the cards as they're dealt to us becuase that's where we're at as a club.

Yeah whatever strategy we had is clearly rubbish and hasn’t worked has it? I refuse to absolve our recruitment team of blame for not even beginning to address the priority position of right winger until AUGUST. Hammond and Kinnear are total amateurs as their CV’s always suggested.

Who has gotten business done so far? *excludes 45% of the league*

That's half the league that you've removed haha
Fair, but that still leaves us, Newcastle, Brentford, Palace, Villa, Bournemouth, Wolves, Wham, Fulham and Forest all struggling to do the business we want to do.

Personally I think its a bit of a nonsense to suggest that we're the only team struggling to get deals over the line and having to adapt to the market / leave it late

with 2 goals and no assists
Not saying we should persist in 'the price is right' but he does have Premier League experience and should not need time to get up to the speed of the game in the UK. He played in one of the worst teams to grace the league so expecting him to have good number s is pretty pointless.
