Really don’t get the hate for this one. Looks a decent player every time I’ve seen him, comfortable on the ball, eye for a pass, work rate.
Are we really slating him for not being a regular starter in the most bloated squad in football with 2 x £100m central midfielders ahead of him?
Strange how those who don’t like him push the price to £30m from 24/25 which it’s reported as.
Think he’s a significant upgrade on Doucoure and improves us.

He is an able body and that is what we need currently. Rome wasn't built in a day. It will take several windows and a better name for ourselves for us to build something great.

Dave, we've narrowly avoided relegation for three years on the bounce

What KDH should be to us is irrelevant. Currently he walks into our Starting XI and makes it better. That's an indictment on us, not him as a player. Think you should get real with what signings we can feasibly make and what we can achieve with them

Either way 30m is market value for KDH, whether you like it not. He's in his prime, was in the Championship Team of the Season 23/24 and spent 24/25 as an integral player in a European competition (no matter how tin pot) for a side that finished 4th. Sadly, 30m for a player of that stature is just the way things is these days
He's nowhere near the quality and consistency of Gueye. Garner is better in the sense that he's got a work ethic that saves him from criticism when he's not shining in most games. That puts him ahead of KDH.

We should be after better than what we have, not him. There's no point in trying to polish this turd, most people on here know his limitations. Not getting Luiz means that you get a player like him instead.

This as an argument makes this an even worse signing. If we’re building for the next few years signing someone at his age and career arc makes even less sense.

£30m for a 27y/o championship proven player… :celebrate:
Was, what, 23 y/o or 24 when they got relegated and I thought looked promising. Tore up the Championship the year after and spent last season playing every week in Europe for a team that finished 4th in the league.

He's an above average premier league midfielder. that equates to 30m, whether you like it or not

We spent 45m for Gylfi fgs, not a great frame of reference but it gives you an idea of value
