Bit unlucky today, Keane and Alcaraz pinched the ball off him when he would have been 1-on-1 with the keeper

this.

even when he tried to swivel and shoot, he was penalized for fouling Dalot wtf
reminds me of Dom's penalty not given when he tried to shoot but kicked at the unsighted defender smh

as much as I would like Barry to succeed too, I dun get the clamoring for Beto to be replaced by Barry already.

premiership central defenders don't give u as much time as la liga

Want Barry to start at Roma at least, see how he does when we actually try to play football.

I do think with how awkward Beto is, he's better at creating chances for himself as a sub than Barry would be. Wouldn't be surprised if that's Moyes' long-term plan for them.

we signed the new ones too late tho, would love aznou and Barry to start too against roma

but for the Roma game, its prolly the first eleven that will play leeds

I think the problem with Beto is that in terms of his football development he's still a 22/23 year old because of the way his career has gone and progressed.Vardy wasn't a consistent prem goalscorer until he was c. 28 due to the way his career progressed from the lower leagues up to the top. I still think there is something in there and he can be a 10 goal a season in the league striker but this season is a bit of a make and break one for him.

He’s very inconsistent but even on his bad days like last night he finds space and gets chances. In a team with as little creativity as we have that is valuable. He will frustrate us but also win us some games. Moyes just has to keep working on his all round game and hope Barry adjusts quickly enough to really push him.

Thought he was unlucky with the offside goal last night. I think his movement is good tbh, we have to time the pass as well.
Yes, if the player who took it on first had left it (Alcaraz?) Beto would have been onside with a clear shot. Then when he was played in he was offside. There was a bit of getting in each others' way with the forwards last night.
