I guarantee you we're not even looking at him.For those of us who have never heard of him, what does he do and should I be excited?
Ah yes. The site where a doctor is asked if various random players would pass an Everton medical. The ever-reliable Goodison News:
Edit: So reliable, in fact, it’s blacklisted
You are wrong, winning is very important for most clubs, at least in the NHL that I follow. There aren't many clubs that you could say aren't working to improve and eventually be a contender. And it is possible because of the draft system and salary cap. Or conversely, it is very hard to stay at the top because players start asking for more money. Looks like Florida Panthers have managed to tie most of their core to long contracts so they might well keep themselves up there for a while but it's not so long ago clubs like Penguins and Blackhawks were winning trophies and look at them now.Winning is a huge cultural thing in America? Not in professional sports leagues...only the top tier battle it out, kind of like the Top 4 here..its about keeping the team and making money off the league, not the team: Angels, Tampa Bay, Marlins, KC etc in baseball...Cinci, Arizona, Jets etc in football, 90 per cent of NBA and NHL...why do you think they are so terrified of a promotion relegation system...that being said i wish we had the NFL's salary cap..
superb.
anyone who thinks they’ve done nothing
to how we
Yes agreed, my point is without the stadium would anyone including him have any interest in buying Everton...ffs by all accounts hes never even been hereIt’s not like he isn’t providing the available funds. The recruitment team can’t close
I guarantee you we're not even looking at him.
I literally type that much crap on here I don't care whatsoever about spelling, punctuation etc, which given my job is a horrendous thing to admit.I use the Swype system for typing on my phone. Very quick, but I end up having to replace 90% of the words![]()
Well you may be right about the NHL. Congrats. Ironically it is the one Ieague I actually dont watch as it really is not covered as much as the other three bigger leagues. I stand by what I said about the other three leagues but ultimately, who really gives a f$ck? My opinion is as worthless or as valuable as yoursYou are wrong, winning is very important for most clubs, at least in the NHL that I follow. Any club in the NHL seen as not trying their best is seen as having the worst owner in the league. GMs are sacked if it looks team is not progressing.

The latest on Douglas Luiz from Gianni Balzarini is in line what I suspected: he says Everton have stepped back in, influenced by Forest's progress, but he thinks Luiz favors Forest.
I had said that I thought his agent, Kia Joorabchian, was using Forest (a club that's friendly to him and often used in negotiations) to get more out of Everton, and then that Juventus might be piggybacking on that ploy to get Everton to close the deal. If it's true that Everton stepped back in over the last two days, then it's working.
