Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

That'll be Grealish off to Spurs then seeing as Maddison's out for a good number of months. Everton that.

You didn’t want him anyway

I don't want him at all: Ndiaye is miles better playing off the left. Ndiaye is miles better playing through the middle. Alcaraz is young and promising and should be given a chance centrally if Ndiaye plays off the left, even if he's not proven yet.

Contributing about £150k a week on a soon-to-be 30-year-old player who used to be fantastic but has been poor for several seasons, has a questionable off-the-field lifestyle and would hardly be highly motivated to play for Everton doesn't seem like a good idea, and I am sure the club sees it that way too.

Bournemouth, Brentford, West Ham, Brighton, wolves all lost key players and haven’t really replaced at all so far. Same goes with forest. Palace haven’t signed anyone of note. Villa have struggled to. So have Fulham. The bottom three are miles behind.

We’ve kept are back 5 together, plus Gueye, who together were one of the best defences in the league and have slowly started adding young, promising players to an albeit small squad.

We add dibling, grealish and a handful of loan signings and I’ll be confident that we can consolidate on the second half of last season.
I am talking about their scouting over years they often have one or two options for both wings with pace, we do not and I am going back seasons here, and that is not just about money, its also choices and corners cut, but point taken we are in a bracket of clubs who have to wait. I hope you are right just we are cutting it fine for me and still don't believe its right to go into a season like this, that isn't entitlement just an expectation of basic competence, I am not screaming that we haven't secured Fofana or Luiz I don't think we get either I am a realist, but I do think not having a right winger for the start of the season, if that is the case is poor.

I’m a little bit worried because after their failed MGW bid, lots of spurs fans started saying they want ndiaye

Now it looks like son is leaving and Maddison suffered a serious injury today

Really hope spurs don’t try and unsettle Ndiaye and come in with a bid for him
Wissa will go there or some fancy foreigner wouldn't surprise me if they splurge on Macatee...

Actually, and I’ll keep saying this, teams get their priority business done and their top targets in early in the window. It’s not and never has been the other way round. This is something our fans have invented to cope with the sluggishness of our transfer activity.
Normal PL clubs do
