New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Only going to reply once to this pathetic argument. The club nearly going out of business is down to the owner and the board. Their mismanaged.

The stadium funding included in that the stadium design come before that they could have built bigger with a different roof. The owner screwed it up not the stadium.

Blame the stadium may as well gone to Stonebridge Cross bigger and cheaper. Or don't build at all!

Completely down to the way the club was run. Mismanagement.
It’s easy to sit there on your couch saying “this is how it should’ve been done”

You haven’t the first clue what you’re talking about.

that mercedes benz stadium is insane.
Look at the way the roof opens.
The whole thing is spectacular IMO!

Just had a little look inside the stadium in Atlanta, its an absolute belter, blows BM out of the water tbf although it probably cost far more to build.
I’ll be honest - I don’t like it.
Closed it looks like the Pterodactyl enclosure in Jurassic Park, the outside just it looks weird to me (not even mentioning the outrage at HD written on ours compared to that giant billboard)
Yeah the opening system looks cool but really to it’s just meh, and open the outside of it looks even more grotesque then when it’s shut.
I’m sure it’s got great facilities etc, but architecturally I much prefer BMD.

The facade will date, the inside reminds me of West Ham's but with more screens.

If it's anything to go by I'd compare ours to a juiced up juventus stadium.
Yes, it cost more to build but it is on another level on several metrics tbh. Over 70k capacity, quirky closing roof, nearly 200 boxes and several whole corporate tiers etc.

I was hoping to get over for this one, as It's one I havent yet been to, and as I've visited the previous Domed stadium a few times in the 90s, I wanted to see if this was much of an improvement. The roof and ring of video screens look a bit oppressive on the photos, but the angular seating bowl looks quite interesting. Tbh, the old stadium (only built in the 90s) was a fantastic stadium too.

Did you ever go to the Astro dome? Looks cool.

Was watching another video and it looks like they may have planned, or are able to, increase the screen area all the way round the roof at BMD.

And close to half of that $1.6bn came from the government, because US sports owners are corporate welfare parasites who exploit people's emotions and use the threat of relocation to line their pockets with public money. Everton should be proud it didn't build one of the these.

Imagine one day waking up to hear Everton are relocating to a new stadium at lands end.

Oakland Raiders moved to Las Vegas to become the the Las Vegas Raiders. An 8 and a half hour drive away.

Disappointing that people who have purchased stones will not be able to view them on Saturday unless they have a ticket for the game
I think they should have had an open day before Roma to let people get used to their surroundings. I think Tottenham did that for theirs.
