Moshiri was a disaster because he couldn't stop meddling in team affairs...but at last he took an interest unlike Friedkin.

It will take us years to recover from his reign mate. He is the main reason we are where we are and why decent players don't want to come. They see us as relegation fighting fodder. I don't even give him much credit for the stadium. Sure he got the ball rolling but there were plenty of others involved in that and all he did was put us in massive debt and point deductions. One of the first things the new owners did was use their business knowledge to reduce the debt he created.

  • Manager depressed
  • Underwhelming transfer window

If you sat down to write a less distinguished start to your ownership of a football club you couldn't add much more than that.

The last time the manager got depressed was when he was forced to sell Rooney. Everyone got their act together, brought Arteta in and made the powers that be change the rules to keep their gravy train rolling ...

Lack of presence at the club?
Moshiri went awol for his final 3 years at the club once everything went tits up. The closest we got to a presence was the odd phone conversation with Jim White on Talk Sport and trying to sell us to a bunch of criminals with the same name as a one armed bandit.
 
Dan Friedkin is on the Board. Marc Watts is Chairman. Ana Dunkel, CFO of TFG, is also on the Board. They are “present” where they need to be. We don’t need fans we need competent, ambitious business people and that is exactly what we have got.

You're saying having competent, experienced people on the board and investing in the club is more important than turning up to BMD to sign autographs?

He was at the club from day 1.

I dont want to be defending him, tbh. But he looks like a super-fan in comparison to owners who obviously dont want to be associated with us.

It's a disgrace and it's insulting, and there's no excuses for it.

We have had enough pantomime owners board members waving and embarrassing the club in the media

I’m genuinely happy not to see them there boards there in place something the last owner ended up not even having
