Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The biggest worry for me is not so much the lack of signings. Im not sure at all about the new ownership….doesnt look great…

It has been a slow burner so far. Pretty worried they weren't seemingly that bothered about moving Dyche on so he basically had to say he'd done all he could so then it was an untenable situation for both parties.

Being optimistic I'll say the most exciting thing in next few weeks beyond making signings will be playing the first game at BMD v Brighton. Win that and everyone is feeling better after life and then there is the last week of the window to make 2-3 exciting signings and suddenly everyone is optimistic for the season and a possible top half finish.

Good list that ;)

Theres one German u21 international to keep your eye on who will go to the elite level...

Dont forget the name -- he'll be at Bayern before long.

Truffert & El Khannouss would be good!

If Rigg and Dibling were announced in a £60-70mil joint unveiling with TFG on the Bramley Moore pitch at the end of the season.

You'd not be thrilled?

Esteve looks very good and is left footed so a good competition for Branthwaite.

I still think we should sign this chap

I think there’s a lack of appreciation at the club as just how much our stock has fallen with agents and players. It was like this when we had money those first couple of seasons under Moshiri.

We are not a big club (in eyes of general footballing world but used to be seen as such). We are not a recently successful club. We are neighboured by three bigger or more recently successful clubs. There is no London factor with us and we have no European football.

We need to learn to walk before we can run and target appropriately, and this does not seem to have been the case so far this TW so will be interesting to see how August plays out.

I dont think the club has positioned itself properly which is frustrating as despite all the realities, I would still maintain that we are an attractive proposition overall. Not to a certain profile of player, but to others.

I don't really understand at all how we seemingly can't attract players that would improve us over a 2-3 year spell, surely that should be the immediate aim. Perhaps Moyes thought with the right signings he could have us on the coat-tails of the Top 5, but that works only if you get the players in.

There seems to be an idea now that if we can't get a certain player, then the only alternative is some average tat when this simply should not need to be the case.

At all levels it points to a lack of preparation and disagreement within the recruitment team. It's so disappointing.

We should get Soucek in - goals galore.
