Aintree pub in Bootle mate.
Pub at the front and had a cabaret / club part attached at the back.
I was between the ages of 5-10 when we lived there so some memories of it.
I went to school at St Matthews in Queens Drive before we moved to the Fylde Coast in 1978.
Close but Litherland Road is a bit further down and crosses Marsh Lane rather than Aintree Road.I remember the Aintree well, bottom of Linacre Lane, corner of Litherland Road. The nightclub part around the side was called the Spectrum. Had a few good nights in there!
