What you read as pleasure I read as frustration.

That two people can draw basically entirely opposite conclusions says to me that he’s probably just dispassionately telling it how it is.

But it’s youth football, not proper football.

The original post was comparing Branthwaite’s value to Dibling’s - what he did for Saints U18’s isn’t a genuine reason for it to be higher.

Ok mate base it on last season with Southampton and their 2 wins out of 38 if you like. I wont be doing that though and i doubt Everton will either.
 

Clearly talented, scored goals at each level including the worse PL team ever, think they where worse then Derby despite getting more points.

Lads seems fast, turn of pace and can control the ball very similar to Ndia.


Ps wouldn’t take less then 100 mil for JB

Ipswich are asking for 40 million for Hutchinson who also has one unimpressive year in the PL and is also a couple of years older.

TBF harsh to expect either player to have striking numbers at such a young age (particularly Dibling) in terrible teams that weren’t competitive in their only season in the top division.

Pretty sure a comfortably older McNeil joined us on the back of a terrible season at Burnley with zero goals and one assist but then has posted good digits here.

Very little point in looking too closely at stats of a 19 year old player with one premier league season under his belt. He’s not exactly peaked!
