I can't help myself. I see this Nottingham Forest stuff creeping up, and I'm going to say take it with a grain of salt. The source is apparently Nico Schira, who gets his information from agents and seems to help them out by talking a lot about who else is interested, etc. I think he talked up Kia Joorabchian's U.K. trip which was supposed to be about talking to mutliple clubs about Luiz, and nothing came of that.
If you look into it, you'll see a surprising pattern of Kia Joorabchian clients being linked to Forest but never signing there. Evangelos Marinakis is a very good friend of his, and it's pretty suspicious that when Kia wants to pressure a club, his friend's PL team is supposedly ready to enter the race.

Maranakis is currently looking to invest in Textor's Botofogo and there has been all sorts of movement between Lyon/forest & Botofogo the last 18 months
Joorabchian has been the broker in all of this, if you remember Dan Ndoye was linked to us while at Basel (now at Forest).
Joorabchian also brokered both of Forests purchases from Botofogo to help Textor move some money around to save Lyon.
