I'd be a bit happier if they have to remake movies then remake the ones that had good books/ concepts but the movie was badly made, Unbroken, ready player one, I am legend and Downsizing to name a few.
The new Naked Gun film is getting pretty good reviews. Thought it was destined to be awful but maybe not

Im wary of film reviewers these days especially with comedy’s and the summer action blockbusters . Hope it’s good tho , the originals were fun
Got tickets for weapons next week, looking forward to it
The association with perennially unfunny but curiously popular Seth McFarlane makes me suspicious, but I do see the reviews are pretty good so far.

I thought the trailers made it look awful and I had no intention of watching it. Then the reviews came out and I decided to give it a go because they were decent. I watched the first 15 minutes and had no intention of watching the rest. Absolutely awful from what I saw.

I saw the new one last night, it’s terrible in my opinion. I feel a disconnect to this stuff now especially when people around my age or older are saying it’s in the spirit and the same laughs as the original. I didn’t feel that at all, and for a kopite i like Liam Neeson.
Also I actually like this kind of humour or did , Airplane, Naked Gun, Hot Shots (Lloyd bridges steals the show) but this?

I liked Police Squad, Airplane (both) and the Naked Guns, but the new one just felt off. I only got through 15 minutes. I think for me part of it was down to Leslie Nielsen. I never really took to Hotshots either,
