Funny that for countless windows we have posters smoking down about Everton not buying young talents etc. then we go out and buy Barry Aznou and now linked with Dibling and it’s all about how we should have got PL ready experienced players!
It’s the fear of how much budget we have I think and what has happened in the past.

Take the tin foil hat off mate.

Time is a flat circle.

Seems we have moved onto our second choice. People whinging this morning that we didn’t have a plan B. This is it.

Now moaning about a scattergun approach. Seems logical to me - another highly rated young winger

I get that we are naturally a negative fanbase (me included) but let’s give it a rest for a bit.

If this kid played in France/Spain, at this stage of his career he'd be worth half of what saints want.
Yup. But suppose 1 season of Branthwaite and we wanted £70million (I know other factors).

If he’s as good as they think, we are a good move for him. He’d be stupid to crave CL and sit on a bench for 2 seasons. And if he came here he’d immediately be our best right back.

I'll be the first to say I don't want him for his price. Not that he is bad. He is not the player we need right now. At all. If we do sign him, you have to hope he becomes an absolute baller.

He's fast, he's a natural right winger, he's great carrying the ball, he's young enough to develop a lot.

Think honestly that's the exact type of player we need now to have any hope of long term progression

It is interesting watching his videos as though he is clearly very naturally left footed he will use his right when he has to do so, certainly more than McNeil does. If he and we wanted to work on that in training I think he could develop his weaker foot enough to really enhance his game.
