Ticket poll for Brighton

It says in the My Tickets section that I have a ticket in “Area 227 Block 227”.

But it doesn’t say which stand.

Can anyone enlighten me?
There you are, mate

Why? It's a ballot. I know some people prefer logging in at 10am to wait in a queue, or hoarding credits when they don't go.

This to me is fair.

Only if they take into account who has been successful for future ballots. If the someone is successful 5 in a row whilst someone is unsuccessful 5 in a row then that isn't fair.

No that’s not right at all.

All tickets on sale through the club go to Forever+ members first.

If there are more Forever+ members in the ballot than there are tickets available, sale to Forever and General will never happen.

Then why would anyone ever buy the forever tier? It's pointless. I mean I'm not arsed either way tbh as I'm + and doesn't look like I've got tickets anyway.

Atm it appears I've paid £140 for nothing with these three memberships 🤣🤦‍♂️

It literally is fair though. That’s how random chance works.

Now I’d have no issue if they did what you’re saying, but leaving it purely on random chance certainly isn’t “unfair”

Agreed it’s a fair process and by far and away a simpler process than logging in to the old system at a time when I’m guaranteed to be working like most people.

Some questions:
1. How many ‘seats’ are actually available to members?
2. What are the odds/chances of getting a ticket? I.e how many of us are there? Is there 10,000 of us going for 2000 seats? It’s only going to increase and thus increase the odds. No problem with that, we’re popular!
3. Will everyone go in equal to the ballot, or will some be given higher priority based on conditions? (Years of membership? Previous successful ballots?)
4. Statistically speaking, someone could randomly be drawn out for every ballot they apply for, likewise, someone could be unsuccessful for every ballot. Is there something in place to prevent this?
5. Is it a random draw?

A ballot is absolutely the right path to take. Likewise, it must be ran well

One way of looking at it.

For me it's not fair if 2 people pay £60 for a membership and one goes to 15 matches whilst the other goes to 3. It has to be weighted somehow to be truly fair.

That’s a weird sentence 😆

But yeah I do know what you mean. They’re both “fair” really, just by different definitions I guess
