Match Thread Everton v West Ham. Wed 30th July. 23.30

Is that because Pickford never makes a mistake and stops every shot from distance?
No, it's because he's able to actually catch a football which is a pre requisite for a goalkeper at under 5s level and with first choice centre backs plus O'Brien at right back they don't allow players to walk through the defence without being put under any duress.

TBF, I thought that O'Brien could have done more to block the shot for their second goal.

You say that but if we don’t get the players in and/or get a couple of injuries in certain positions then a good few of them are in line to start, that’s the worry
At this moment in time with Branthwaite injured and probably not going to be set for Leeds (not sure of extent of injury), then either Keane or Patterson will be starting!

I would also argue that Tim or Harry are a better option that Garner, so likely starting.

Beto will definitely be starting.

Travers is the only given who will not be.

So far, we've actually gone backwards from the worst squad in our history.

I love being an Evertonian, it's like sitting at home with the flu while everyone else is on the beach with a beer in their hand.
