Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

How’s it a panic buy if he’s a free agent?

We need a minimum of 5 new players and they’re not all going to be £30m marquee signings. We need to start filling the squad out. To be honest I think there’s barely any difference between Brownhill and James Garner and I’d be interested to see if someone can convince me there is.
What is Brownhill good at, from when you've watched him play?

Because he'll want at least a 3 year deal, a decent signing on fee and to play a decent amount of games. A Garner and Brownhill centre midfield doesn't exactly set the pulse racing. We've just managed to free up most of the deadwood in the squad so why add players who aren't of the desired quality just to fill numbers?

A Garner and Iroegbunam centre midfield doesn’t set the pulse racing either. I think that this point it’s less about setting the pulse racing and more about actually fielding a team that can compete against other Premier League teams.

You think because you write these long laborious,quasi-analytical posts that they are somehow deserving of an equal retort....well they're not.

Your post was just that "BALLS,"

Not one of your posts comes from balanced, fair minded thinking.

It's easy to see your hatred for Moyes because it seeps right through anything you post, and leaves you unable to deal with actual facts.

Your hatred is that strong you openly admitted to not celebrating a 94th winner because he picked Doucoure, which led me to believe you're not actually an Evertonian.

I think you're more just someone obsessed with Computer games and scouting players though a PC monitor, which is fine but I'd suggest you'd stay in that lane👍

Is that Riposte any better?
I don’t even think he’s a football fan.
Reckon he’s so addicted to Champ Man that it consumes his life, and all he wants is Everton to sign the wonderkids he’s been using on his career mode.

Only managed to watch the first half as it was pretty dire.
Not sure what Moyes was playing at with the 3-5-2 formation, especially as the team had the personnel for the more favoured 4-2-3-1. That’s on him (I’m a fan btw) but wonder if this team set up was to send a msg rather than win a match?

McNeil is lost. Simple as that. Been playing off the right and suddenly shifted to left wing back, where ironically myko was the one who found himself furthest forward on any rare attack.

Patterson and Iroegbunam look way out of their depth, and can’t surely be considered serious options for premier league games.

Travers was playing well until his flap at end of first half, Ndiaye was the usual bright spark. Armstrong did ok but the game largely passed him by (1st half) but I’d say that was mainly due to the weird set up that favoured absolutely no one.

He’s clearly completely thick but I still think he’s great entertainment

We need to press for some decisions on some of these deals. If Fofana doesn’t want to come, move on to someone else. Don’t wait until the end of August for him to sign elsewhere then claim we tried our best. Same with Luiz. If we can’t agree terms with Juventus, move on. This smacks of countless other transfer windows where we get to the end of it and don’t have the players we need.
Equally, Moyes constant comments aren’t helpful. Basically admitting that we’re desperate, so any selling club and agents are going to try and squeeze more cash from us when we’re already struggling to get deals done.

That and his genocide support
I don't wanna get to heavy so early in the morning,I don't like to start the day like that

But listen by all means give Moyes grief when he deserves it,but to make up a false narrative to push your agenda is going to work on here, especially when everyone knows your feelings towards someone.
