I’ve just read all of Zat’s multi quote tirade he’s been on since 1am and can assure you, this is down to Moyes. He sounds like he wants the recruitment team to do exactly that tbf.

Common sense...do you think fofana would say no to 150k a week? Really?
As opposed to some celebrating and claiming Doucoure was one of our best players?
Nothing to do with the manager or Moyes, a dead rubber.
Do you celebrate wins in preseason too?
Its a risk whether we wait or roll the dice on players down the list.
Im at the point now where i wonder how long the list even is because there seems to be a lack of anything.
Iroegbunam is at best a squad player with potential. Why bring in Brownhill who's nearly 30 and his best accomplishment is being a standout in the Championship? I think Moyes would probably want to bring Brownhill in too but I think for us to improve you need to be patient and go for the more elite players where because there will be competition for his signature you will have to be more patient with negotiations. Losing a couple of games on a pre-season jolly without your 2 best centre backs and goalkeeper isn't a reason to start panic buying limited lower Premier League players nearing 30He would be a massive upgrade on Tim Iroegbunam. We need more than 1 central midfielder. We need a minimum of 2 and I actually would prefer 3 adding Brownhill on a free. Our best midfielder is 36 and his legs could go at any point in the season.
Luckily for us, we’ve just brought a new highly rated attacking fullback from Bayern Munich who was a product of La Masia then.just saw dorgu up and down that left flank attacking without fear and scoring
our full backs are so limited, fearful even
Oh so you don’t know what we’ve offered him. Thought so
moyes knows. we need our barnstorming fullbacks of old like baines and seamusLuckily for us, we’ve just brought a new highly rated attacking fullback from Bayern Munich who was a product of La Masia then.
What a dumb post. your deep hate for moyes is embarrassing now.As I posted in the Keane thread...
We apparently had a deal with a club + the player but Moyes cancelled it and extended the deal with Keane.
Of course we dont know the player/club. However, surely this shows that Moyes is making decisions.
Unless were blaming Hammond for poor negotiation (small margins to play with?) or Kinnear for not signing off higher fees...
...who is responsible?
It strikes me that spending £4mil on a backup keeper who was seemingly unwanted anywhere else, perhaps wasnt the wisest use of funds.
But thats splitting hairs.
Ultimately, we know Moyes has had major issues at United when signing high profile players.
We also know he fell out with DOF(s) at West Ham and poorly recruited at Sunderland.
The fact is that Moyes is 'known' to want control. Do people really believe he's not in control of players names on lists? Nor is he in control of agreeing budgets with Kinnear and Hammond?
He has form for complaining in public at United and West Ham.
If its a money issue then he knows it already and shouldnt be publically commenting on it.
If its a challenge and a delay due to going for targets looking at a higher level then he is also aware of it.
What is he actually doing other than throwing his toys out of the pram that players he has selected (after supposedly months of preparation) arent jumping to play for him?
I'm interested to understand how this doesnt fall on him.

Great point this, we aren’t seeing players we are strongly linked with going elsewhere just yet but we are struggling to convince them to join us. One big game of chickenCan pretty. Uch say with almost certainly that our only "top" target, in terms of recruitment for a position that has moved this summer was Delap - and we quickly after moved to ensure we got Barry.
Time to worry is when players we are seriously interested in starting moving and we sit static
And I mean players we genuinely have e listed as a priority - not the likes of tete who was an opportunistic punt.
You think because you write these long laborious,quasi-analytical posts that they are somehow deserving of an equal retort....well they're not.You think hes just left a list of names and thats his part completed?
If so then that would explain his summer at united dont you think?
I wonder if were still stuck on the A list as theres no final decision from players and theres a lack of alternative names on a list.
Clearly a huge divide on what Everton and e.g Chelsea can pay in fees and wages.
It makes sense for players to hold out...BUT surely, i mean SURELY there have been discussions about this for months?
Fantastic riposte.
